How do I add team goals?
As a manager or admin, you can add team goals for your team. Your team members can then contribute their individual goals to these team goals, working together to achieve them.
You can also align your team goals with the organization's goals. This way, your team contributes to the realization of the organization's objectives. In this article, we will explain how to create a team goal and link it to an organizational goal.
- Click on 'Team.'
- Click on 'Team Goals.'
- Click on '+ New Team Goal.'
Now, a window will open where you can create a team goal. You can define the content of the goal in the following ways:
- Select the team for which you want to create a team goal.
- If there are underlying sub-teams in the team you manage, you can give employees from these sub-teams the option to contribute to this team goal. If employees from underlying teams can contribute to this team goal, choose 'Yes (cascading).' If this team goal is exclusively for your team, choose 'No (non-cascading).'
- (Optional) Does this team goal contribute to the realization of an organizational goal? If so, you can choose to link your team goal to an organizational goal. The goals in the list with the building icon are the organizational goals.
- Give your team goal a name. Keep the goal name concise so that it is readable for your employees. If you need to provide more information, you can write it in the description.
- (Optional) Add a description of the goal if needed. Here, you can explain what the goal entails and make it more concrete.
- (Optional) Does this goal have a specific time frame? You can assign a start and end date to the goal if it applies to a certain period. If you don't provide an end date, the team goal will remain available until you archive it.
